I ended up having a great weekend. It started off on Friday night when a friend had extra tickets to the opera Madam Butterfly. I got home late and still had to prep my camera gear for the next day. I think I got all of 3 hours of sleep before packing up the car and heading out to pick up the cake guy. (who graciously agreed to make the trek over to the beach with me). I even missed my opportunity to get my morning cup of Starbucks (can you believe that?). I made plans to stop through Hollister and see a good friend from college... and also to bless her with some pictures of her kids. Here are some of my faves:
Then we all hopped in the car and headed over to Monterey to eat lunch at Schooner's (I hope I spelled that right!) It was 72 degrees and absolutely beautiful there. {Cross', thank you again for lunch. You really didn't have to do that!}
Then it was off to do a little browsing around antique stores before heading over to shoot an engagement session on the beach. When April said she wanted to do the photos in Monterey I was excited. I love it over there... and I'm always looking for opportunities to HAVE to go. Here is a sneak peak into the engagement session:
